Two security officers were wounded in a drive-by shooting Thursday night outside a marijuana dispensary that had been ordered to close, San Bernardino police said on Friday.
The dispensary was operating illegally Thursday night, said Lt. Michael Madden, and had been previously shut down by the city.
Officers were called to the area of Fifth and Flores streets around 11 p.m. Two security officers were outside when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired several rounds, striking both, Madden said. At least one of the guards returned fire. The wounds were not life-threatening.
Police were still searching for the suspects.
