EASTHAMPTON — Entrepreneurs who propose to build the city’s second medical marijuana facility will present their plan to the Easthampton Planning Board tonight.
Kot Kasom, president and CEO of Green Life Dispensary, Inc., seeks site plan approval for a 20,000 square-foot facility at 19 Wmelco Way. The 2.67 acre property, located off Rt. 10 near the Southampton line, is zoned industrial.
Plans call for reuse of an existing 16,160 square-foot warehouse and a 3,520 square-foot expansion for retail sales. The property is owned by Antonios Rizos of Miri Realty, LLC.
Green Life Dispensary is eligible to receive a certificate of registration from the Massachusetts Department of Health, and has received preliminary approval under state law, the application states.
Green Life Dispensary on Dec. 19 was invited by state regulators to submit a siting profile, documents on file with the city’s planning department show.
According to his application, Kasom has been the owner and operator of Soul Fitness since 2005, and is product operations manager for Packaging Corp. of America. Chief Financial Officer Anderson Green of Amherst is former managing director
